East Rockhill Township’s 2027 Preliminary Budget is available for public comment.
The proposed budget includes receipts and expenditures totaling $6,188,850.00 across all funds.
Please direct public comments, questions or concerns to the Township Manager or the Board of Supervisors will receive public comment and consider adopting the budget at its regular meeting on November 24, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.
Budget Highlights:
- The preliminary budget proposes no increase in real estate tax millage, sewer usage rates or the street light assessment.
- Funding supports continued 24/7 coverage by Pennridge Regional Police.
- Other budget items include consultant expenses related to Rock Hill Quarry and compliance with U.S. Department of Justice web content accessibility guidelines.
- Equipment funding includes replacement of the road mower.
- Planned road maintenance includes an oil and chip with fogcoat application on Three Mile Run Road from Schwenkmill Road to State Route 313.
- Overlay projects to be bid include Blue Rock Road, Boulder Drive, High Point Circle, Overhill Circle, Pebble Circle, the last section of Ridge Run Road, and Shale Circle.
- Phase 2 widening of Hill Road, from Trolley Lane to Three Mile Run Road, is also planned for bidding.
- Sewer infrastructure projects include refurbishment of the treatment plant’s sludge holding tanks and effluent weirs.
