The East Rockhill Township 2026 Preliminary Budget showing receipts and expenditures in the amount of $6,663,594.00, all funds is available for public inspection.
Public comment, questions or concerns can be directed to the Township Manager.
The Board of Supervisors will receive public comment and consider the budget for adoption at their regular meeting on November 25, 2025 at 7:00 PM.
Budget Highlights:
- No increase to real estate tax millage or street light assessment for properties within the district
- Sewer usage rate increase of $10 a month or $120 annually in order to adequately cover costs associated with providing wastewater services
- Pennridge Regional Police 24/7 coverage
- Complete new Public Works Maintenance Building Project
- MS4 stormwater improvements as mandated by DEP for Federal compliance
- Consultant expenses related to Rock Hill Quarry
- Oil and Chip Application: Three Mile Run Road (Schoolhouse Road to Rockhill Road) and Three Mile Run Road (Old Bethlehem Pike to Conrail Bridge)
- Overlay, in-house: Rockhill Road (Rock Hill Quarry entrance to Contrail)
- Parks:
- Iron Bridge Park: basketball court overlay and streambank repair (2024) pending DEP permit approval
- Willard H. Markey Centennial Park: skate park replacement with potential of 2 pickle ball courts with 1/2 basketball court or bocce as recommended by Park & Recreation Board
- Open Space conservation easement monitoring
- Sewer Infrastructure:
- Treatment Plant Aeration tank refurbishment
- Influent and Equalization pumps
