The Board of Supervisors adopted the 2024 Budget with income and expenses totaling $5,145,591 all funds at their November 28, 2023 regular meeting. There will be no increase to the real estate tax rate or sewer usage rate. There will be a $4 annual increase to $45 for the street light assessment for properties within the district. The last change to the street light assessment was in 2021 when it was decreased from $47 to $41.
In 2024, the Board looks forward to continuing to providing the same level of services to residents.
2024 budget highlights are:
- Public Works building replacement
- Pines of Pennridge trail overlay
- Branch Road path streambank repair and path relocation
- Golf driving range tee area widened
- MS4 (stormwater) projects to meet PA DEP and federal requirements
- Ultra-thin bonded wearing course on Branch Road and Blooming Glen Road
- Widening and shoulder work on a portion of Hill Road
- Oil & chip application on section of Clymer Road and on West Rock Road
- Sewer treatment plant tanks repaired and repainted
- Consultant expenses including an environmental attorney related to Rock Hill Quarry
- 24/7 coverage from Pennridge Regional Police Department.
