The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, expired medications, vitamins, sharps, vaping products and pet medicine while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.

If you can't make it on October 24, the Pennridge Regional Police Department has a Med Return drop box in its waiting room. You can drop medications into the box anonymously with no questions asked. The box is routinely emptied and medications promptly turned over to the District Attorney's office for proper disposal.
