Notice is hereby given that the East Rockhill Township Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on February 26, 2019, at 7:00 p.m., at the East Rockhill Township municipal building, 1622 Ridge Road Perkasie, PA 18944 to consider the adoption of an ordinance that will amend Chapter 15, Part 2, of the Code of Ordinances of East Rockhill Township by adding a new Section 15-219, Brake Retarder Prohibition at Certain Locations. The proposed Ordinance establishes a prohibition on the use of brake retarders along North Rockhill Road between Muskrat Road and Quarry Road. The Board of Supervisors will consider and may adopt this ordinance at the above-referenced meeting. The title of the above-referenced ordinance is as follows:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF EAST ROCKHILL TOWNSHIP, BUCKS COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, AMENDING CHAPTER 15, PART 2, OF THE EAST ROCKHILL TOWNSHIP CODE OF ORDINANCES BY ADDING A NEW SECTION 15-219, BRAKE RETARDER PROHIBITION AT CERTAIN LOCATIONS, PROHIBITING THE USE OF BRAKE RETARDERS ON VEHICLES OPERATED UPON PORTIONS OF NORTH ROCKHILL ROAD WITHIN THE TOWNSHIP; AND PROVIDING FOR THE ERECTION OF OFFICIAL SIGNS TO PROVIDE NOTICE AND WARNING TO THE PUBLIC; AND ESTABLISHING FINES AND PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS.
