Board to Evaluate Blooming Glen Road Restrictions on Jan. 5

The Board of Supervisors will discuss the current one-way restriction on Blooming Glen Road near Moods Covered Bridge at their January 5, 2009, Work Session at 7 p.m. at the Township Municipal Building. Interested residents are invited to submit their comments to the Township Manager or share them with the board at the meeting.
Background on the Restrictions
When Moods Covered Bridge re-opened in early 2008, it did so with a one-way restriction. After completing a traffic study, East Rockhill Township Supervisors, concerned about sight distance deficiencies, voted to restrict traffic across the bridge to allow northbound traffic only from Branch Road to the Glenwood Shopping Center. The Supervisors agreed to revisit their decision in 2009 to consider any new information after implementation.
