Driving Range

 

The driving range is open from dawn to dusk and will close after Thanksgiving.  It is located in Markey Park at 1418 Ridge Road, Perkasie.  It has a self-operating token and ball dispenser system.  Tokens can be purchased for $5 from the staff or from a token dispenser located on-site by the soda machine.  Use the token to operate a ball dispenser. 

 

 

Skate Park

 

The Skate Park is open for use free of charge from sunrise to sunset.

The Skate Park is located in Willard H. Markey Centennial Park at 1418 Ridge Road, Perkasie.  It is 60' x 120' and is for roller blades and skateboards.  Rules are posted for the safety of all skaters.  Helmets and pads are required.  Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.  Children 18 years or younger must have their parents’ signatures on the waiver and liability release form.

Jr. Fishing Camp, Lake Towhee Park

 

The Bucks County Department of Parks and Recreation will sponsor a new JR. FISHING CAMP, LAKE TOWHEE PARK - Old Bethlehem Pike, Applebachsville, Haycock Township.   This fishing program will be for kids age 9 to 14 years (as of July 1, 2008)  Kids will explore different locations with different fishing environments and water eco systems. The camp will originate at Lake Towhee Park.  Fishing visits will be made to Lake Towhee Park, Lake Nockamixon, Tohickon Creek and the pond behind Weisel Hostel.  Class size is a minimum of 9 and 16 maximum in order to hold the camp.  DATES: July 14 to 19 , 9 a.m. to 12 noon.   COST: $50 per child which includes instruction, equipment, and staffing for the week.
