Community College slates Dollars for Scholars 5K Run & 1 Mile Kids Run

 

The Upper County Campus of the Bucks County Community College will hold it's second annual 5K Run and 1 Mile Kids Fun Run on October 14, 2000.

 

The events will kick off at 8:45 am with a dedication ceremony naming the race path after the late Mervin C. Bryan a life long area resident. WNPV Radio's "On the Bench with Jim Church" will broadcast live from the college between 9:00 and 10:00 am.

 

Interested runners may stop by the campus located at 1 Hillendale Drive (just behind the Glenwood Shopping Center) or call 215-968-8394.

 

Race day registration for both runs begins at 7:30 am. The Kids 1 Mile Run will start ate 9:00 am and the 5K Run at 9:30 am.

 

Tours of the newly renovated campus facilities will be available. Proceeds from the events will benefit the Dollars for Scholars Scholarship Fund.
