Tree Planting Enhances the Willard H. Markey Centennial Park

 

Last fall a series of 15 plantings were installed along the walking path parallel  to Ridge Road. The plantings, designed by  Contemporary Landscape Inc., provide a visual enhancement along the front of the park. It will also serve as a wind and snow barrier along Ridge Road. The project is seeking corporate and resident sponsors willing to contribute $1,200.00 per planting. Contemporary Landscape has donated the first planting. All contributors will be permanently recognized with a commemoration plaque to be installed with the planting. Interested contributors may contact the Township office.
