Discover Bucks: Be a Tourist in your own County
In recognition of travel and tourism’s tremendous economic, social and cultural impact in Bucks County, the Bucks County Conference & Visitors Bureau, Inc. has announced a program to observe National Tourism Month. Discover Bucks: Be A Tourist In Your Own County will take place the month of May 2001.
The objectives of the program are to familiarize Bucks County residents with the attractions, lodging, shopping districts and restaurants within Bucks County. “This is the perfect opportunity for Bucks County residents to discover their own county” says Paula Fitch, Executive Director of the Bureau. The program will be promoted through the Passport to Bucks County Savings coupon booklet spotlighting participating businesses. The booklets will be made available for $10.00 at participating businesses and other locations throughout the County. Beginning in March the Township will offer the booklets for sale at the Township office located at 1622 Ridge Road.
For more information about this exciting community event or to purchase your Passport to Bucks County Savings Booklet directly, please contact the Bucks County Conference & Visitors Bureau Inc at 888-359-9110 or visit the web site at www.bcccvb.org. |
