9/11 Commemorations

Dear Community, Municipal, School, and Faith Community Leader:

 

The Bucks County Commissioners invite you to post information about your Sept. 11 commemoration

events on the Bucks County government Web site.

 

We are planning to have a solemn but hope-filled ceremony in the courtyard of the Bucks County

Courthouse on Wednesday, Sept.11 at 8:45 a.m.  In addition, we are preparing a proclamation

remembering the victims and heroes of Sept. 11, 2001, as well as expressing our solidarity with the

service men and women, law enforcement officers, firefighters and other emergency personnel who are

participating in the battle against terrorism.  The proclamation asks all county residents to use their

headlights during the daytime driving hours and to wear patriotic attire or accessories during the day.

 

To post news of your event on the Bucks County Web site, simply send the information via e-mail  to

webmaster@co.bucks.pa.us, or call the Office of County Communications, 215-348-6415.

 

We hope that together, we can remember the tragedies of 9/11 and help our families, friends and

neighbors strengthen their resolve to stop terrorism and become an even greater nation.
