East Rockhill Township introduces new Township Manager |

Anne W. Klepfer Twp Manager |
|
the Manager’s position at New Hanover Township, Montgomery County. She spent the next eight years guiding New Hanover Township through a period of rapid growth, expansion of government services and information technology development.
When asked why she became a Township Manager, Mrs. Klepfer said: “I have always been interested in civics and social relationships and an Urban Studies professor at Dickinson College inspired me to use my passion and knowledge to give something back to society. A short internship with the Borough of Carlisle, PA exposed her to local government and made her realize that local government is the only level of government that is truly “of the people, by the people and for the people” and where she could make the greatest contribution.
“On my second day on the job in East Rockhill Township I was privileged to speak to Deibler Elementary School fourth graders on their Heritage Day field trip. I couldn’t tell them much about East Rockhill Township, but I did tell them how special local government is and all the different things we do to help residents. I told them that they need to be good citizens and that means getting involved and caring. One student asked me what I like best about my job and the answer is very simple, I like helping people and I like solving problems.” |

East Rockhill Township is excited to introduce its new Township Manager, Anne W. Klepfer. Mrs. Klepfer is an experienced Township Manager with expertise in subdivision and land development administration and public administration. She brings with her over ten years of experience and a Masters Degree in Public Administration. When asked how she is enjoying the job so far, Mrs. Klepfer responded: “I am absolutely thrilled to be in East Rockhill Township and I will do my best to be responsive to the concerns of residents and impartial in the carrying-out of my duties and responsibilities.”
Mrs. Klepfer began her career in 1995 as the Assistant Manager for Franconia Township, Montgomery County. After two and a half years of tutelage under the Manager of Franconia Township Mrs. Klepfer secured |
