Community College Dollars for Scholars Run The Upper County Campus of the Bucks County Community College will hold it's second annual 5K Run and 1 Mile Kids Fun Run on October 14, 2000.
Walking Path Named for Mervin C, Bryan On October 14th, the walking path along the East Branch of the Perkiomen Creek will be named after the late Mervin C. Bryan. Mr. Bryan, born in 1939, was raised on the family farm which is now the Cedarbrook Crossing and Pines II & III development.
In April of this year the Pennridge Area Coordinating Committee (PACC) completed the Pennridge Area Greenway Plan.
Join the Heritage Conservancy and the Bucks County Audubon Society on September 30, 2000 for a walking tour of the Quakertown Swamp. The 518 acre swamp is one of the largest intact, inland wetlands in southeastern Pennsylvania.
As the November nth General election quickly approaches, remember the last day to register is October 10, 2000.

Bucks County Community College Upper County Campus Opens On September 7th, 1999 the Bucks County Community College opened a second full-service campus to serve the Upper Bucks County region.
The spring newsletter served as a township sponsored survey.
Playground Project & Walking Path Through the joint efforts of business, individuals, the Park & Recreation Board, Township Supervisors and the community, the 1998 Playground Project has been successfully completed.
Beginning in March of next year every household within the United States will receive an advance letter, census questionnaire mail-out and a reminder card for non-respondents.
Wastewater Treatment Plant Bid On October 8th 1999, the township opened bids for the proposed 113,000 gallons per day treatment plant.

The Perkasie Fire Company and Perkasie Ambulance are moving forward on interior renovation of the new substation building.
In June, the Board of Supervisors entered into an agreement to acquired 50+ acres along Three Mile Run Road.
The Weisel Youth Hostel, situated near Lake Nockamixon State Park on Richlandtown Road, offers the opportunity to experience a large country estate with ancient trees and a park like setting.
