East Rockhill Township Real Estate Tax collection is performed by an elected resident of the municipality.  The tax collector is responsible for the collection of the School, County, and Township Real Estate taxes, and the School and Township Per Capita taxes.

 

Kathleen Percetti was appointed in June 2002, officially elected at the next municipal election in November 2003 to complete the remainder of the 4-year term begun January 7, 2002, and reelected in November 2005.

In addition to the Real Estate Tax, the Township has also levied an Earned Income Tax (EIT).  The EIT is collected by Berkheimer Tax Administrator, a professional collection firm, under contract by the municipality and the local Pennridge School District.  It is shared by the school district and the Township.  In addition, the Township has levied .25% strictly for preservation of open space and land purchases.

Tax Certificate Requests by mail please.  The 2008 Tax Certification fee is $25.00 which certifies 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008.

Notice

 

All tax bills will now be mailed to all property owners because the tax collector's manual states tax bills must be mailed to the last known address of the taxpayer.  Due to the high amount of refinancing and mortgages being sold, it is best that the taxpayer receive the bill to review and then forward to their mortgage companies or financial institutions if the taxes are escrowed.

 

Credit Card Payments

 

Taypayers can now pay their taxes by using Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express.  Click on the link below or pay by phone by calling 1-800-2PAYTAX ( 1-800-272-9829).  Type in East Rockhill Township's Jurisdiction Code of 4843 and follow the instructions provided.  Please note that Official Payments will charge a convenience fee.

 

Pay Via Credit Card

Effective Jan 1, 2007 the Township's open space is increased to .25%. The total earned income is increased to 1.75% due to voter referendum.
