Eight grass tees and a sand trap are available for all golf enthusiasts. The driving range is open from dawn to dusk and will close for the winter after Thanksgiving. It has a self-operating token and ball dispenser system. Purchase tokens at the Township office* or from a token dispenser located on-site.
*Discount and senior rates are only available at the township office Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Skate Park is open free of charge from sunrise to sunset. The 60 x 120-foot park is for rollerblades and skateboards only. Rules are posted for the safety of all skaters. Helmets and pads are required. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Children 18 years or younger must have their parents’ signatures on the waiver and liability release form.
On August 20, 1996, the Board of Supervisors named the Willard H. Markey Centennial Park after Willard Markey in honor of his dedication and service to the township and the various boards on which he served. He was a charter member of the Park and Recreation Board and Planning Commission and served on the Pennridge Wastewater Treatment Authority as the township's representative for a number of years.
The township acquired a tract of land on Three Mile Run Road near the intersection of Schoolhouse Road in 1996 for passive open space as part of its park system. The approximately 87 acres of woodland is open to the public. A walking trail along Three Mile Run Road is planned for 2009.
The Menlo Aquatic Center as well as Perkasie Borough recreation programs are open to East Rockhill Township residents. Visit their Web site for more information.
