Supervisor Volovnik Recognized by Police Department

The Pennridge Regional Police Commission and the Pennridge Regional Police Department surprised East Rockhill Township Supervisor Gary W. Volovnik with a plaque acknowledging his continuous service and dedication to the Pennridge Regional Police Department and Pennridge Regional Police Commission from 1992-2008. West Rockhill Township Supervisor Don Duvall, along with Chief of Police David Mettin and officers of the Department attended the meeting and extended their appreciation to Mr. Volovnik for his years of service. Mr. Volovnik ceded his position on the Police Commission in 2009 to fellow East Rockhill Township Supervisor John Cressman who is currently serving as Chairman of the Pennridge Regional Police Commission. Mr. Volovnik stated that he is very proud of the Pennridge Regional Police Department and of the Police Commission’s accomplishments during the past sixteen years.
