Green Jackets Youth Football
has Expansion Plans

The Pennridge Green Jackets, a not-for-profit youth football and cheerleading organization, has called Markey Park home for over 10 years. Due to the growth of their program, the Green Jackets would like to add two additional playing fields and extend an existing parking area.
The additional playing fields will permit them to rotate use of all three fields and avoid over use of the existing field. It will also provide them with greater schedule flexibility to ensure improved traffic flow and parking. Currently, their facilities include a regulation size football field, a snack stand, field house, and practice fields leased from the township.
The Green Jackets submitted an engineered plan and have applied for permits to construct the additions. Residents interested in seeing the plan should make an appointment with the township manager by calling 215-257-9156.
